A spectacular curved sliding patio door supplied by Balcony Systems allows light to flood into the sun room of Wendler House, a new high-specification home completed in 2013 near East Grinstead.
Measuring appx 8 metres in girth, the Balcony W8-4F model was chosen, allowing 4 sliding doors and 4 fixed panes. The door stands 2.23 metres high and the aluminium frames are finished in a RAL 8008 Light Oak shade to match the windows.
Constructed by bespoke building contractors Duaris Homes in the exclusive enclave of Dormans Park, the £1.4 million house is named after the company Chairman, David Wendler Brown.
The door was installed by Nuglaze Home Services Ltd, part of the Duaris group of companies and a specialist in replacement doors, windows and conservatories. Nuglaze Director Mick Stevens said: “The curved door looks brilliant and was quite straightforward to install. Everyone is very pleased with how it looks and what it adds to this impressive home.”
Above the door, the curved shape of the building forms part of the master bedroom, complete with a free-standing bath positioned to make the most of garden views. Balcony Systems also supplied a custom-sized 1.3 metre Juliet balcony with a matching Light Oak finish for a single French Door in the master bedroom.
