Reduced maintenance thanks to its innovative self-cleaning glass coating was a key reason why Paul and Margaret Ratcliffe ordered a clear glass Juliette balcony from Balcony Systems for their Sheffield home.
The couple replaced a first-floor window with French Doors and the unobtrusive.
Balcony Systems product, with a white handrail to match existing windows, provided the perfect balustrading solution.
"We specified self-cleaning coated glass as it really does work; there's a noticeable difference compared to normal glass," commented Paul.
"It stays much cleaner as the water runs off it quickly. Being glass, the balcony lets in plenty of light and keeps the garden views. We're delighted!"
